Why are your releases, from Gash 62 on, mp4 files?

At that point, our encoder insisted we change the codec we used to encode to X264. This lets the episodes be higher quality for a lower filesize, and results as an mp4 instead of an avi.

Apparently, it's less common. We were in part influenced by Kaizoku-Fansub's switching to this kind of file not too long before. Some people apparently don't have the correct codecs to play them, which are files necessary for your system that lets your players play those files.
