cccp is seriously over-rated! Tried using their lastest release (well it was a couple of weeks ago) and found it to cause a lot of problems with sub and language selection in the player (and yes, I did un-install previous codecs first). Got rid of it and got the latest K-lite codec pack, and it worked perfect straight of the bat.
I wish I could watch the Hi10p! The VLC player that played that file just showed a green picture!!! I used MPC too, but I dunno what is wrong with that player, it just won’t play the subtitles! So I guess I’ll just stick to the normal 720p….
Yeah i guess you’re right, when i saw it at first i didn’t have the time to think about it and the episode really is epic. But when i think about Torikoi’s “Legs are several times more powerful than the arms” his initial reaction was kind of weird, considering he’s the one who stated this fact wow :P. And Leg-knife… um we’ll see. I know these shounen tend to get broken after power ups, but i’ll be praying to the god of food that Toriko will remain the most badass modern manga/anime!

You shouldn’t expect much logic from action animes in general. Just pure bad-ass.
Also, a “20-Ren Kugi Head-butt” doesn’t seem like a such bad idea, maybe in the next arc?

shouldnt hi10p bee smaller then the normal release? i think hi10p was more quality +tinier files leike most other groups that releasing hi10p^^
It’s 30 mb smaller than 720p, and i personally think the quality is better, although it’s hard to notice with a 720p anime.
Yes, I think the quality is noticably better, this ep looked beautiful, it is worth it:)
