Just saw Toriko page on anidb that episode 148 indeed is the last one …
Still cannot believe its over …
I hope the manga will continue.
Boy, there is sure a lot of things in here different from the manga? Some are what we know, a few new twist does a few different feats.
I even wonder how they’ll make the part where Komatsu gets taken by Starjun to wait to be rescue? They must have like a different plan for that?
I think I saw it in Naruto after Sasuke left his village, that they made a bunch of filler episodes to stretch things out before they soon moved on to the new sequel series Shippodden? They must be cooking up a plan since maybe the mage had too much sorrow, sadness, blood & stuff that seem more around the adult mature level. They must be thinking up something in how to string things along?
I hope you are right. Not that i think Toriko should be more mature.
I liked when it was about just hunting and cooking delicious ingredients.

So it’s confirmed it IS ending, not simply going on hiatus till the manga gets farther? 🙁 🙁
We are told that it’s gonna end, but we are not told if it’s gonna return or not. Toriko is gonna end early because Dragon Ball Kai, which was canceled & replaced by Toriko, did better ratings than it. So, they’re gonna end Toriko and continue with DBKai. However, DBKai will last for around a year, so maybe Toriko will return after DBKai is over. Hopefully….
But don’t worry for the manga, that’s not ending anytime soon. 🙂
