Hey, the 10th anniversary of this group is… like a week ago or so.
I’m not entirely sure of the exact day as I wasn’t here when it started, nor is anyone else. Edit: According to IzumiShiro who just stopped by again, the official start date is 10-26-04. I joined in April of 2005. But this group originally started November 14th of 2014 by IzumiShiro and Xero. Izumi stops by the IRC channel every once in a while to say hi, but I haven’t seen him in a while. One of those times he told me the group started on November 14th 2004, he thinks. Xero left after a few months I think. I never talked to him, I think he was Izumi’s friend and didn’t have time to work on the group anymore. The projects they did when they started were:
Ah! My Goddess (Ah! Megumi-sama!!!)
Lime Iro Ryuukitan X CROSS
Konjiki no Gash Bell!!! Gash!!!
Mahoraba -Heartful Days-
And I think they only did a few of those for the most part. Mostly because of poor management, to be honest. I started to work on Gash Bell and had to deal with that management thing for a while back when I was 15 before Gash Bell got settled into being released on a regular basis. A lot of which had to do with fixing the hosting for the site, rebuilding the site several times, dealing with horrible group members, dealing with group members that didn’t exist at all seemingly, and that sorta thing. Anyhow, a lot of people have come and gone in that time and apparently not all that many groups exist for this long so I thought I’d mention it. Here’s a list of everyone that’s been on the staff at any given point. Generally in the order the joined or quit, but most that quit just stopped showing up or we no longer had anything for them to work on, so it’s not exact. And some just helped out when we didn’t have anybody, things like that. So I thought I’d mention it.
Kotono (Lachette, Belldandy)
Uh, I’m still too busy with other stuff to try to take on any more anime. Like I mentioned in the last post. And I’m not sure if we have enough staff that have time to actually finish any, but we’ll see what happens in the future. Then there’s also the fact that most good anime are licensed by some official sub that’s either simulcast or subbed within a week. It’s a very different world from when I was 15 and couldn’t find any place to watch Gash Bell. Ah, nostalgia. Anyhow, just thought I’d mention this.
